I am a life-long Park resident and an alumnus of Trombley Elementary School and U of D Jesuit High School and Academy. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Political Science and Wayne State University Law School with a Juris Doctorate. I currently am and Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan. I am assigned to the Criminal Division and prosecute crimes arising in the Detroit casinos, illegal gambling operations around the state, state tax crimes, and special assignments. Prior to joining the Michigan Attorney General’s office, I served as a criminal defense attorney primarily in Wayne County and the city attorney to Allen Park and Woodhaven.
I currently reside on Audubon with my wife Rev. Marianne, my daughter Diana—a Defer Dragon, my son JP, and our soon expected son Charlie. I am actively involved in church both at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church and at Starr Presbyterian in Royal Oak where my wife serves. I love being on Lake St. Clair kayaking or boating, Michigan football, and summers at our parks.
It’s an honor to continue to serving you. There are great things happening in the Park and I love being a part of this community.
