The Department of Public Works is responsible for the health and maintenance of City-owned trees throughout the City. Grosse Pointe Park has been named a Tree City USA for 43 years straight and has also received the prestigious Sterling Award from the National Arbor Day Foundation. The Department works closely with the City's Beautification Commission to continue the mission of keeping the City green, healthy, and beautiful.
