Public Safety

The City's Department of Public Safety is a fully integrated department that provides police and fire services for the City of Grosse Pointe Park. All sworn personnel are cross trained and licensed as police officers and certified as fire fighters in the state of Michigan. Emergecy medical services are provided by Medstar ambulance services.

Grosse Pointe Park also operates a 911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) that serves the cities of Grosse Pointe and Grosse Pointe Park.

The City of Grosse Pointe Park Department of Public Safety is pleased to announce the official launch of the Police Advisory Committee. The Committee is intended to be one more avenue for our residents to share concerns, ask questions, or make suggestions to improve the way we deliver public safety services to our residents.
