Hazardous waste needs to be disposed of properly. Many hazardous waste products can be toxic, flammable, corrosive, or may react with other substances which could create harmful fumes or explosions. Hazardous waste products include the words danger, warning, caution, corrosive, or flammable on the container. Hazardous waste including household batteries, should never be included with your regular household rubbish.
The City also participates in an area-wide hazardous or electronic waste disposal day with the other Wayne County municipalities. Priority Waste does not offer weekly Hazardous Waste Pick up.
