Park Pass Info

To receive a Park, Pass, residents of Grosse Pointe Park can go to the Lavins Activity Center where they can complete an application and get one printed. Residents can also fill out the online form on this page which will submit it to Parks and Recreation. Once these online applications have been submitted to Parks and Recreation, park passes will be printed and sent out to the outside gatehouse at Windmill Pointe Park where you can retrieve them. Please allow for 2 -3 business days when applying online for a park pass. Below is the link where you can download a park pass application as well. If you download the application, you can fill it out and bring it into the Lavins Activity Center to retrieve your park pass as well.

Park Pass Application

  1. Application for Resident Park Passes: Grosse Pointe Park city parks are for residents, tenants, and business owners of commercial properties.

    This is your application for Park Passes for the upcoming term. To facilitate the issuance of passes, we ask that you fill out the bottom portion completely and legibly. Please return this completed application Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 4pm to the front desk of the Lavins Center at Windmill Pointe Park: 14920 Windmill Pointe Dr. Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230. When applying for passes, please list ONLY those residents residing at the address. Proof of residency is required (driver's license or Michigan ID) for any family member age 24 or older who is not the homeowner. City ordinance allows no more than two unrelated persons to receive passes for each address.

    • Homeowner: Current homeowner passes are valid for a four-year cycle ending on December 31st.
    • Caregiver: One caregiver pass per household will be issued upon request for children under age 10 for a fee of $25.
    • Renter: Renter passes are issued annually and expire every December 31. Renters must show proof of residency via driver's license/ID or rental/lease agreement.

    Lost or Misplaced Park Passes my be replaced once per season by an adult only and at a cost of $20. After returning your application to the Public Service Department, allow two weeks for processing.

    At any time, you may be asked for photo I.D. Misuse of your Park Pass may result in revocation.
