Public Safety
The City’s Department of Public Safety is a fully integrated department that provides police, fire, and emergency services for the City of Grosse Pointe Park. All personnel are cross trained to provide both fire and police services and an additional 13 officers are also trained as basic emergency medical technicians. Grosse Pointe Park Launches its Police Advisory Committee
The City of Grosse Pointe Park Department of Public Safety is pleased to announce the official launch of the Police Advisory Committee. The Committee is intended to be one more avenue for our residents to share concerns, ask questions, or make suggestions to improve the way we deliver public safety services to our residents. The Department currently uses Nixle to publish notifications such as road closures, fire hydrant flushing, water main breaks and are power outages, etc. Residents can register for the service at https://nixle.com/register/ or download the application on their mobile device.
